I am Ray Paniwozik and I own an operate Hurtle Creek outfitters. Hurtle Creek outfitters has been in business since 2007. We are located in the Chugach mountains in the state of Alaska.

 

We primarily offer big game guided hunts which include Dall Sheep grizzly bear mountain goat, and Alaskan Yukon moose. Our hunts are custom built around each hunters needs , Schedule, and individual requirements. We are a small operation only taking 4 to 6 clients a year, we have found making a hunt tailored around a person's individual ideas of a hunt, offers an opportunity to have a personal hunt and yet be guided with the professionalism that 25 years of experience brings to the table.

 

All of our hunts are done in the back country or what we call up here the “Bush “, accessed only by small aircraft called “super cubs”. Most of the camps are large four season tents and food is a mixture between real and freeze dried.

 

Dall sheep, goat and moose are hunted in the fall, and our grizzly and black bear hunts are conducted both spring and fall. All hunts are 10 days of actual hunting. We offer over-the-counter areas for sheep and moose, and also the opportunity to put in for specific draw areas in unit 13 in the Chugach mountains. We work very hard at any opportunity to take game utilizing every advantage we have to put a hunter in position of an animal and make the hunt an adventure of a lifetime.
